Nayra Alonsos Sail - Severne Blade 2008 Constant, balanced power The Blade continues to be a powerful sail that is now even easier to control and depower at will. Highly responsive it provides speed fl ow and power for smooth transitions through turns and manoeuvres on the wave, whilst refl ex and rig tension boost maximum height and hang time. ![]() Nayra Alonso: "Blades are perfect for me. They are powerful, but very controllable. I can vary their power easily playing with the downhaul. I love how they work here in the Gran Canaria conditions, this is where I can feel how they work the most." Scott McKercher: "I love the Blade as the power is all nice and low. It’s there when you want it, yet still sensitive between the hands. It also has a huge wind range depending on the rig settings. I don’t always come up in one piece when I wipe out at Margaret River but my Blades do." Key features for 2008: • Zero monofi lm construction for more durability. • Optic X-Ply II window area for more strength. • Heavy duty Spectra X-Ply reinforcement in foot area. • Dacron luff panels on 4.7 and smaller for more a softer, more foregiving feel. Buy this sail if you want: Maximum drive on the wave face and the most powerful all round wave sail. Style: Ideally suited to all wave sailing. Sizes: 3.0, 3.2, 3.7, 4.0, 4.2, 4.5, 4.7, 5.0, 5.3, 5.7, 6.2 more info: severnesails.com posted by editors at 11:30 PM |
